3. Managed Services Agreement: In the event that your school has a managed services agreement with OneStudent, a streamlined process will be in place. The school will provide a list of users and their details to the OneStudent team. OneStudent will then take care of the system provisioning and user management, ensuring a seamless setup aligned with the school’s requirements.


With these steps, you can efficiently gain access to OneStudent, and the OneStudent team is here to support you throughout the provisioning process, whether you choose to manage users internally or have a managed services agreement in place.

  1. Initial Installation and Data Import (2-3 Hours): Based on feedback from our partner schools, the initial setup typically takes about 2-3 hours. During this time, you’ll login to OneStudent and perform the necessary imports to ensure that all relevant data for your school is included.
  2. Ongoing Data Updates (30-60 Minutes per Term): To keep your information up to date, plan for an additional 30-60 minutes each term. This ensures that the system remains current with the latest data. for example, new staff or students.
  3. Instant Access to Resources: Once the initial data import is completed, everything you need is instantly accessible within OneStudent. Users can begin exploring the system and take advantage of the wide range of functionality available to configure outputs that match your school’s specific requirements.
  4. Variability Based on School Factors: It’s important to note that the time required for setup can vary from one school to another. Factors that influence this timeline include the size of the school, the number of subjects being managed, and the quality of data needed for OneStudent. Schools with more extensive data requirements may require additional setup time.
  5. Year 1 Configuration: The first year of setup is typically the most comprehensive as it involves establishing the core structure and importing essential data.
